Several school superintendents in Jefferson County who have appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show recently have talked about the importance of teaching kids how to read.
Gary Williams, the Superintendent of the White Hall School District is among them and Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Williams if that was one of the most important things that teachers can do.
Horne also asked Williams what kind of percentage he would put of kids who enter school at age 5 who have not been exposed to reading enough.
