White Hall has run one of the most successful Little League programs in the state for many years, and they have been rewarded with a second State Tournament hosting site next month. In addition, the under 8 All-Stars will be competing this weekend in the state tournament in Centerton. The coach of the team Braden Bottoms was a guest on Sunrise Deltaplex and he broke down how the rules work. They compete in coach pitch now, where they bat off the pitching of their own coach. That could change for these youngsters next year.

Little League also makes sure everybody gets to play, regardless of skill level

Each batter also only gets to see five pitches, which means some strategy is involved

The team from White Hall begins play on Friday, June 28th and will try to get to the finals and win a championship on Monday
