Citing rising operating costs, Walmart has announced that they are closing all of their health centers and virtual care services. They launched the services in 2019. The reason for the closures is “reimbursement problems and escalating operating costs. A spokesperson for the company said the reimbursement issue proved challenging from all types of insurance. Last spring the company had said they would open even more clinics, with 28 schedule this year. The company had been operating three in the state, in Fort Smith, Rogers and Springdale.
