There was all kinds of weather in Southeast Arkansas last week from sunshine early in the week to thunderstorms, torrential rain and the threat of tornados at the end of the week.
Gary Williams, the Superintendent of the White Hall School District, was asked about that when he was a guest on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show, starting with the decision to close schools early one day.
Morning Show host Greg Horne said sometimes spring might be worse than winter because while the possibility of snow in the winter is minor, the threat of tornados and severe weather is greater in the spring.
Horne also said weather forecasters now are becoming more accurate with their forecasts.
