Wednesday is United Way Day on Oldies 013 and this week the Executive Director Jason Duren was asked about partner agencies, whose numbers have changed in the past few years.
Morning Show host Greg Horne said that because Pine Bluff and Southeast Arkansas are more of an economically depressed area, they depend more on government grants and get a disproportionate share of hurt because of what is going on in D.C.
Duren was asked if Neighbor to Neighbor will actually close its doors.
Horne said when government grants get cut, the United Way partner agencies need help even more.
