Press Release from Pine Bluff Police Department
Sunday September 1, 2024 at approximately 1:31 p.m., PBPD officers were dispatched to 4109 HWY 65 South (near Dollar General), in reference to a collision where multiple people had been ejected from a vehicle. Upon arrival, Officers found three black males lying in the roadway. Witnesses, who wished to remain anonymous, reported that all three males had been in a black pickup truck before it was struck by a passenger vehicle leaving the Dollar General. According to the witnesses, the black pickup truck flipped numerous times after being struck. Officers rendered aid immediately and notified EASI Ambulance Service and the Pine Bluff Fire Department. Two males were critically injured and transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center, while one male was deceased at the scene. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this incident.
