The Pine Bluff City Council voted unanimously to overturn the Planning Committees denial of the rezoning property allowing 1911 Construction to build and develop on Faucett Road.
In December 2020, 1911 construction request the property be rezoned had been denied by the commission who felt that the development would not preserve or improve the character of the surrounding property.
The President of 1911 Construction, Hosea Jackson appealed the commission’s denial and addressed the shortage of homes in Pine Bluff and the lack of economy to support single family homes. Jackson explained that in that specific area there will be 3 garden homes to fit single families and 8 duplex properties.
Jackson went on to explain how this property will help the surrounding neighborhood and addressed the main concern of those who primarily live there.
Jackson thanked the council assuring the council that he will do his best to make these properties a bring success.
