UPDATE 1:00 P.M. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office has canceled the silver alert for James Charles Jones. According to a press release Mr. Jones was safely located around 12:20 P.M:
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office would like to inform the public that James Charles Jones has been safely located a distance from his home in a wooded area at approximately 12:20 P.M. It was reported that Mr. Jones was alive and well, however, he is being checked out by medical personnel.
Grant County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend thanks and appreciation to all the agencies and people involved in the search efforts.

A silver alert has been issued for a missing Grant County man.
James Charles Jones is a 5-foot-5, 150 pound African American missing from the Grapevine area. He has a scar on his right leg and uses a walker.
