Sheridan High School has been recognized on the AP School Honor Roll for its outstanding performance and commitment to expanding access to advanced placement (AP) programs.
The school has earned Bronze status in two categories:
Increasing the percentage of seniors who have taken at least one AP exam and providing opportunities for students to earn college credit by passing at least one AP exam.
Additionally, Sheridan High School achieved Platinum status in maximizing college readiness, with a high percentage of seniors taking at least five AP exams.
The school currently offers 19 AP courses and has experienced annual growth in both student participation in AP classes and success in passing the exams.
