Multiple Deltaplex area schools are closing early Wednesday due to the threat of severe weather.
Strong storms with possible tornadoes and flooding are expected for the Deltaplex area Wednesday afternoon, leading to the decisions to close.
SCHOOLS:
Pine Bluff – Closing at 1:30 p.m.
Watson Chapel – Closing at 1:30 p.m.
White Hall – Closing at 1:30 p.m.
Boys & Girls Club of Jefferson County – Will not open
CITY/COUNTY OFFICES:
Pine Bluff, AR Alert: Due to a severe weather threat, City of Pine Bluff offices will close at 12 PM today, April 2, 2025. Officials will continue to monitor conditions to ensure public safety.

TRANSPORTATION
Due to severe weather, Pine Bluff Transit will be closing at 12 noon today, April 02, 2025. Buses will seize all operations at this time. PBT will continue to monitor weather conditions to ensure public safety.
