Sports betting at Saracen Casino in July totaled $10.14 million, more than double the totals from OaklawnRacing or SouthlandGaming. In addition, Saracen had $1.07 million in net winning, which also surpassed the other casinos in the state.
Totals for Oaklawn were a handle of $1.3 million and $225,318 in net winning while for Southland, the handle was $4.06 million and net winnings of $434,496.
Each casino had a lower handle in July than they did in June but a higher net win total.
That could be attributed to the NBA finals in June, and to college baseball, neither of which occurred in July.
