A Pine Bluff man with multiple prior convictions was arrested Tuesday after sheriff’s investigators found him with a gun in his pocket.
During a court hearing Thursday, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said Aaron Willis, 28, has been convicted of residential burglary and theft of property.

Reading from an affidavit from Investigator Nathan Jines, Carson said at about 4 p.m., the investigator saw a black Dodge Ram pickup towing a trailer than had no license plate. They conducted a traffic stop and dispatchers reported that both the driver and passenger had active warrants.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $10,000 bond for Willis and told him to come back to court Dec. 28.
