Chad Pitts
The Sheridan School Board promoted Chad Pitts to Superintendent. Pitts is now the assistant Superintendent.
Prior to working for the Sheridan School District, Pitts had been principal of Benton Junior High School. He began his career at Benton as a coach and teacher in 2010.
Pitts has worked for the Benton, Glen Rose and Bauxite school districts. In 2016, he started in administration when he was named the assistant principal at Benton Junior High School.
Pitts’ wife, Allyson, is the Sheridan’s director of School Counseling. They have 2 children and both are students in the District.
