A new director of security in the Pine Bluff School District is charged with keeping students, faculty and staff safe.
Pine Bluff School District Superintendent Jennifer Barbaree introduced that the new director, Foster Baker, when they appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.
Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Baker to talk about some of the things he has instituted in his first year in the school district.
Baker went on to say this.
Horne then asked Baker if there is at least one officer at every campus every day.
He said at this point, there’s not enough information available to determine if having armed staff members at a school is a good thing or a bad thing and Barbaree said there has not been an incident where a weapon was needed in the district.
