Wednesday is United Way Day on Oldies 1013 and this week Ollie Merritt of Voices for Children joined Jason Duren to talk about the need for volunteers, explaining that currently there are 117 children in foster care in need of advocates.
Merritt went on to say this.
Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Merritt to what people who volunteer to be advocates will be doing.
Horne asked if kids who go into foster care will still have an attorney appointed for them.
