William Lee Young, age 72, of Fordyce passed away at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock on Friday March 28, 2025. He was born on October 12, 1952.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Louis and Helen Louise Young, his brother, Reece Howard Young, and his son, Robert (Robbie) Dale Carroway, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Donna Young, his daughters, Tena Larae Young and Lisa Diane Harvill and Randall of Fordyce, and his son, William Alan Young of Fayetteville. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Christen, Gracie, A.J., Tori, Preston, Ryan, Reagan, and Brandon; 10 great grandchildren, Sophia, Jace, Nova Rae, Joshua, Aurora, Emryn, Jayden, Christopher, Bradley, and Taylor. He is also survived by his brother, Dan and Judy Young of Thornton, sisters, Carolyn Crews of Bearden, Wanda Young of Norphlet, and Eve Cleveland of Fordyce. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins, and a very extended family.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shane Mathews officiating. Burial will follow at Benton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
