William “Bill” Lamar Day, Jr, 61
1964-2025

The light of our family left an emptiness we will feel until we join him in eternity. Bill Day’s spirt and humor will be with us as we strive to exist without him. Bill was born in Dermott, AR on March 3, 1964, and died on March 14, 2025, at the age of 61. He was an independent soul who had many friends. Bill would do anything for anybody. He was a farmer, avid poker player, and collector of interesting memorabilia.

Bill is survived by his mother, Becky Graves Bien, sister Jeani Day, brother Walker Day (Rachel), stepmother, Judy Day, aunts Linda Graves Gross, Gayle Graves, Sue Day Wood (Billy), Linda Day and Anna Joyce Locke. He was “Uncle Bill” to many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and one great nephew. He also had many cousins who adored him. He is preceded in death by his father, William Day, grandparents Clarence and Wynoma Day, grandparents, Jim and Jean Graves, uncles, Raymond, David, Danny, and Ricky Day, cousins Brad Day and Ron Stewart.

Family and his many friends will join in love for Bill on Monday, March 17, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Dumas. Visitation at 1:00 p.m. and service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Jefferson Cemetery with Rev. Dubs Byers officiating.
