Wanda Sue FLowers, 95

Wanda Sue Hope Flowers, 95, of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord on Good Friday, April 18, 2025. She was known as Sue, Grandmother, and Mimi.

She was born on March 24, 1930, in the family’s home in Malvern, Arkansas, to James Arthur and Mary Winborne Hope. She was raised in Prattsville, Arkansas.

She gave her life to Christ at the age of 12 and followed Him faithfully all the days of her life. Sue graduated from Sheridan High School and attended Arkansas State Teachers College in Conway, Arkansas, where she met her husband, Paul, who was also known as “Cookie”. They married in Prattsville in 1950, after which the newlyweds were stationed in several cities around the world while Cookie served in the United States Air Force.

While living in Sherwood, Arkansas, Sue enjoyed a 40-year career as a consultant and director for Mary Kay Cosmetics earning nine Mary Kay cars during that time.

Sue raised her three girls in Park Hill Baptist Church while residing in North Little Rock, Arkansas, where she also served as Music Secretary for 30 years.

Sue is preceded in death by her husband Cookie, her parents, and her brothers, Art Hope and Bill Hope. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters Pauletta Lowman, Renee Chandler (Ron) and Sandra Crowder, and twenty-three grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on April 24, 1 PM, at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, Prattsville, Arkansas, with burial to follow at Philadelphia Cemetery, Prattsville. Visitation with the family will take place at noon at the church.
