1962-2025
Tina Marie Stokes, age 62, passed away January 19, 2025. She was born March 28, 1962 in Eudora, Arkansas to Jimmy and Helen Morgan. She was a homemaker for the entirety of her adult years. She devoted her earlier life to raising her sons and tending to her family. When she was blessed with grandchildren, she loved to take up time with them. She adored her family and also had a great love for the outdoors. She loved fishing, hunting and riding the levee. She looked forward to her shopping days with her sister, Mary.
Other than her father, she is preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Ann Whittington and her brothers; Billy Wayne and James Morgan. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Timothy Stokes of Greenville, MS; Sons, Jonathon (Cassandra) Stokes of Greenville, MS and Robert (Melissa) Stokes of Fayetteville, AR. Brothers; Jimmy (Debbie) Morgan and Jimmy Ray (Mary) Morgan both of Greenville, MS. Sisters; Mary (Doug) Prescott of Lake Village, AR, Lucy (Ken) Foster of Sunflower, MS and Effie (Victor) Woods of Greenville, MS. 14 Grandchildren and 17 great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held Friday, January 24, 2025, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Chapel in McGehee, Arkansas. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Chris Morgan officiating. Arrangements made by Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service of McGehee, Arkansas.
