Thomas Calvin “Tommy” Stone, 64, of Pine Bluff, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.
He was born March 26, 1960 in Pine Bluff, son of John William Stone and Jo Ann Mustachia Stone.
Tommy was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff.
He worked for Central Moloney from 1995 until his retirement in 2020.
Tommy loved firefighting. At a young age, he hung out at the local fire station near his home. He served with the Highway 15 Volunteer Fire Department for many years, earning the rank of Captain, until his health no longer allowed him to actively participate.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Eula Stone and Thomas and Frances Mustachia; and an infant brother, David Allen Stone.
Survivors include his sister, Luanne Rodgers (Lavon) of Pine Bluff; loving partner of 22 years, Elizabeth Ann Ellis; four nieces and five nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2025 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Brother Jimmy Herring officiating. Interment will follow in Hardin Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Robinson’s.
