Sandra Kay Nichols Mizell 75 of Dumas, Arkansas passed away November 21, 2024. Kay was born in Dumas on November 11, 1949, to the late Willie Samuel Nichols, Sr., and Ruth Brewer Nichols. Her parents, daughter Jamie and son in law Robert Carter, brothers Ira and Sammie Nichols, sister Marilyn and two great grandchildren Ian and Eli, all preceded her in death.
Kay was member of First Baptist Church in Dumas. Formerly employed by Dumas Dry Cleaners and was the activities director at Dumas Nursing Home. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends from church. She loved watching the grandchildren swim and play in the pool.
Survivors: her husband, Ronnie Mizell, daughter Tammy (Ricky) Shambley and sister Clarice (John) Poole, all of Dumas, Arkansas four grandchildren: Lauren Shambley, Colby Smith, Jacob Shambley and Kaylee Carter and eleven great grandchildren.
Graveside memorial service held at 2 pm, Friday, November 29, 2024, at Walnut Lake Cemetery. Memorials in memory of Kay may be to First Baptist Church 200 East Waterman Street, Dumas, Arkansas 71639.
