1957-2025
Ronnie Lee Blasengame, 67 of Star City, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025 at his home. He was born in Pine Bluff on December 17, 1957 to the late Elmer and Mildred Cook Blasengame. He was of the Christian faith, a member of the Star City Bass Club, Dumas Bass Club, and was a right of way operator for C & L Electric Coop. Ronnie loved fishing, hunting, growing a garden, play with his dog zoey and spending time with his grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Oscar Hunsaker, Wayne Hunsaker, and James Stover; and three sisters, Sallie McWhorter, Martha Russworm, and Ardath Edmonds.
Survivors include three sons, Shane Blasengame (Brandi), Malcomb Blasengame (Felicia), and Kyle Blasengame (Jessica), all of Star City; a daughter, Ra’Leigh VanDuren (Daniel) of Star City; a sister, Brenda Burnett (Guy) of Malvern; five grandchildren, Chaselyn, Aubrey, Mylee Jo, Lexington, and Roy Corbyn; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 6:00-8:00PM at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 10:00AM at Griffin Funeral Service with Bro. Thomas McGriff officiating. Pallbearers are James McGriff, Steve Blasengame, Royce Hall, Zehe McClain, Steven Ray Bill, and Joey Drake. Honorary pallbearers are Thomas Fish and Terry Glen Thompson. Burial at Leek Cemetery.
