Peggy Elaine Miller, age 93, of Pine Bluff, died Sunday, March 23, 2025.
Born October 27, 1931 at Dallas, Texas, she was a daughter of the late Sanford Williams and Helen Bailey Williams. Peggy spent her early years in Dallas and moved to Sulphur Springs, Texas when she was a senior in high school, graduating in 1949. She then attended North Texas State University.
A resident of Pine Bluff since 1957, she was a longtime member of First Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years.
Peggy attended Pines Vocational-Technical School and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She married Dr. Donald L. Miller on November 13, 1970, an he preceded her in death on January 24, 2004. Also predeceasing her are two sons, Alan Watkins and Mike Miller; a daughter, Mollie Reyner; and a sister, Sandra Tipping.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Stark (Woody) of Benton, Sheila Stauffer (Dale) of Pine Bluff; two grandchildren, Haley Walker Tehan (Seth) and Jason Stauffer (Anela); and two great-grandchildren, Eva Walker and Ford Klein.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 27, 2025, beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Carlton Cross officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery in Grant County.
