Paula Jean Dailey, 75, of White Hall, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was born October 20, 1949, in Pine Bluff, to Paul and Doris Stroble Earnest. She was a graduate of Dollarway High School. Paula loved to travel, one of her most recent trips being to Cheyenne Frontier Days in Wyoming. She was a very talented artist and painter and enjoyed taking art classes and being involved in numerous art guilds. She has previously had artwork displayed at Simmons Bank. She also was an accomplished cake decorator and event coordinator as well as caterer. Paula loved riding horses at Double L Saddle Club. She enjoyed a good game of Bunco with family and friends. Paula also loved getting herself and her family involved in martial arts, and she previously held the title of Arkansas State Champion in Judo.
She was also a member of E.H.C., the Christian Women’s Club, and was an active member of the Republican Women’s Club. Paula was retired from Cotton Belt Railroad, where she held the distinct honor of being the first female engineer.
Survivors include her husband, John Dailey, whom she married December 30, 1980; her sons, Dwayne Gay (Sally), Greg Gay (Teresa), Jason Dailey (Chasity), and Sam Pettis; her daughters, Rhonda Dailey and Torie Robinson (Tyler); her grandchildren, Christopher Gay, Johnathan Gay, Krystal Laminack, Hannah Gay, Jagger Williams, Brandy Clark, Laney Dailey, and Mia Dailey; 18 great-grandchildren and a host of other loving family members who will miss her dearly.
