1933-2025
Patricia Ann Pennington of Bearden, Arkansas passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 92. She was born February 15, 1933 to Cleo and Nellie Beard.
She was a lifetime member of the Bearden Methodist Church where she served in many ways including being a Sunday School teacher and singing in the choir.
Many former students and faculty of Bearden Public Schools loved Mrs. Pennington during her 24 years of works as the school secretary. After retirement, she and her husband, Marvin, enjoyed years of traveling, camping and dancing with dear friends.
Patricia was a loving wife to Marvin for 73 years. He has been a devoted husband and caretaker to her. She was a wonderful mom to Jimmy Pennington, Greg Pennington (Letitia), and Nelodie Perkins (Mark). She was MaMaTrish to Kerri Harris (Matt), Courtney Townsend (Adam), Kyle Pennington (Chelsea), Tyler Pennington (Victoria), Zachary Perkins (Justine), Olivia Morris (Zach), Camile Pennington and 14 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Buddy and Dan Beard, sister Cleatie Williams, and nieces Dana Beard and Ashley Williams.
Visitation will be Sunday 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Bearden Community Church with Rev. Andy Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Moss Hill Cemetery in Bearden.
