1948-2025
Laranell Taylor Lamproe of Little Rock, Arkansas was born February 10, 1948, the daughter of the late Aven and Colleen Taylor. Laranell retired as the head cook of Landmark Elementary School and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed living life and was an avid fisher, loved playing bingo, going to the casino, watching crime tv shows, going to yard sales, thrift shopping, sewing, sleeping, singing and playing the piano. And even though she loved to pester them, she loved her family above all and spending as much time as she could with them, especially her grandkids and great grandkids. She will be dearly missed and remembered in love.
Laranell passed away Thursday March 27, 2025, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock AR, at the age of 77.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Edsel Wayne Lamproe, sister, Juanita Verwey, brothers, Jimmy, Flint, Randy, and Jody Taylor, and a grandchild Jessie Marie Lamproe.
She is survived by her three daughters, Rebecca Harris, Teresa Bell (Mike), and Jessica Tilley (Zachary), brothers Silas Taylor (Sharon), Ricky Taylor, and Daniel Taylor (Connie), sisters Louise Scarberry (Bobby) and Lilly Kay Collins (Robert), sisters-in-law Tammy Taylor and Mary Lou Taylor, grandchildren Aiden Tilley, Aieriona Tilley, Johnathan Mainers, Rachael Mainers, Casey Thomas, Dakota Thomas, and Brett Davidson, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews that all loved her very much.
Funeral service will be 12:00 P.M. Monday, March 31, 2025, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Interment service will follow at Upchurch Cemetery in Saline County.
