Karon Hearn Baxter of Bella Vista, 71, passed away on April 4, 2025. Born July 31, 1953 in Stuttgart, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Basil and Lucille Hearn.
Karon was a classically trained vocalist and pianist who devoted many decades of her life as a piano and voice instructor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Chuck).
Karon is survived by her two sons: Phillip Baxter and wife Mandy of Monticello and Kris Baxter and wife Elisabeth of Bella Vista, along with four grandchildren: Elijah, Olivia, Levi, and Everleigh, as well as her three brothers: Denny Hearn, Lee Hearn, and Stephen Hearn.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2025 at the Essex Funeral Home in DeWitt. There will be visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. that morning at the funeral home.
