1960-2025
Karen Sue Minchew, age 64, passed away January 30, 2025. She was born September 23, 1960 to the late Horace Garrison and Lois Virginia Wyndam. Karen never met a stranger and was as outgoing as they come. She was of the Baptist faith. She worked as a line worker for Pactiv. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved visiting the casino and shooting pool.
She is survived by her sons, Dewayne Garrison of Malvern, AR, Nick Cessor of Malvern, AR; daughters, Amanda Minchew of Malvern, AR and Amber Minchew of Malvern, AR; brothers, Larry Joe Garrison of Colorado and Gary Garrison of Monticello, AR; sisters, Rita Minchew Crossett, AR, Stacy McCoy of Sherman, TX, Paula Smith of Cleveland, OH; husband Michael Minchew; grandchildren, Summer, Kaylee, Landon, Lydia, Adam, Lucian, and Michael; great-grandchildren, Sage Reyes and Grayson McCaslin.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Chapel in McGehee, Arkansas. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with Bro. James Kendig officiating. Interment will take place at McGehee Cemetery.
