Judy Marilyn Jacobs Sherrill 82 of Star City, Arkansas passed away March 10, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on February 28, 1943, in Lake Village, Arkansas and was the daughter of the late Clyde Charles Jacobs and Virginia Lee Teaque Jacobs. Judy’s parents, husband Robert Sherrill, Sr., two sons David and Robert, Jr., two sisters and one brother all preceded her in death.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Judy retired as Food Service Manager with Dumas Public Schools after thirty years of employment.
Survivors are three sons, Kenneth Sherrill of Star City, Arkansas, Gary (DeeAnn) Sherrill of Dumas, Arkansas and Doug Sherrill of Redfield, Arkansas and daughter Jennifer (Michael) Campbell of Star City, Arkansas, two brothers James Jacobs of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Gary Jacobs of Alexander, Arkansas, fourteen grandchildren; Megan, Ashley, Julie Beth,
Sarah, Kimberly, Robin, Andrea, Christopher, Garrett, Jamie Kay, Miquel, Jordan, Ethan and Dallas, and nineteen great grandchildren.
Visitation from 5-7pm, Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Griffin Funeral Home. Services at 2pm, Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Rawson officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Lake Cemetery. The Sherrill family will headquarter at the home of Gary and DeeAnn, 341 Independence Lane, Dumas, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
