Judy Bunch, 78

Judith Lee “Judy” Robinson Bunch of Sheridan, Arkansas, was born June 12, 1946 at Fort Smith, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Alton Turner and Edna Decker Robinson. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Sheridan, where for many years she served in numerous capacities. Judy had a passion for education, both being an educator, as well as furthering her degrees. During her 40 year career in education in Arkansas, she worked in schools at Grapevine, Dierks, and Sheridan. She retired from the Sheridan School District as a Reading Specialist. She had been a member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority at Arkansas State Teachers College (University of Central Arkansas) and also Sigma Sigma Sigma and Beta Sigma Phi Sororities professionally. In 1968, being a beautiful person both inside and out, she was chosen as homecoming queen at Arkansas State Teacher's College. Her greatest pride was being a wife, mom, and grandmother. She adored her family, and they felt the same way about her.

Judy died Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, at the age of 78. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Wayne Bunch whom she married December 26, 1967; brother, Steven Ray Robinson.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jamison and Jon Kelly White of Star City; sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan and Joey Bunch of Zachary, Louisiana, Aaron and Amy Bunch of Benton, Louisiana, Lauren and Christa Bunch of Sheridan; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Carol Robinson of Little Rock; grandchildren, William Jon White, McKinna Bunch Lewis (Paul), Turner Ferguson Bunch, Adley Suzanna Bunch, Laryn Lee Bunch, Emma Grace Bunch, Grant Athan Bunch, Bailey Fern Bunch. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Karen Garner of Lowell, Arkansas, and numerous other extended family members and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 P.M. Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan (2686 Highway 167 North). Funeral services will follow at 4:00 P.M. with Rev. Todd-Paul Taulbee officiating. Committal will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 7, 2025 at Union Hill Cemetery, Parthenon (Jasper), Arkansas (Newton County).
