Johnny Ray Bryant was born April 24, 1961, in Gethsemane, Arkansas, to the late Rosie and Williams Bryant Sr.
He received Jesus Christ at an early age at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Gethsemane, Arkansas. He joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in 2023 under the leadership of Pastor Darrell Martin.
He graduated from Wabbaseka High School in 1980. After high school, he worked with Henderson Land and Cattle farming until he joined the US Marines. Johnny enjoyed Marine life until he was honorably discharged. He returned home and continued working with Henderson Land and Cattle until his health started to decline.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Rosie and William Bryant Sr, one sister, Leola Jackson, and two brothers, William Bryant Jr. and LeRoy Bryant.
He leaves to cherish the memories of his beloved and devoted wife, Kimberly Bryant, one daughter, Myatta (Chris) Esquivel, and two sons, JaQuarn (Ashley) Bryant and JaCoby Bryant. Grandson Kaiden Bryant. His sisters, Thelma (Earnest) Brewer,Doris (Roy) Mosby, Jacquelyn (Jackie) Manning, and brother-in-law Monroe Jackson, as well as a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, at Brown Funeral Home Pine Bluff, AR.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Altheimer, AR, by Pastor Darrell Martin. Interment in Altheimer Community Cemetery, Altheimer, AR by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff, AR. His body will lie in-state from 9:15 a.m. until service time.
