1958-2025
John Scott Lewis, 67 of Sherwood, arrived at his heavenly home on March 24, 2025. Born March 22, 1958, in Munich Germany, the son of the late, Francis Scott Lewis and Annie LaNell Smith Lewis. His parents and brother, Francis Michael Lewis, all preceded him in death.
John was a member of Central Baptist Church, North Little Rock. He was a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas. John served in the United State Army as a Missile Ordinance Officer. He retired from the State of Arkansas, Department of Finance after 20 years serving as Payroll Processor; and was a volunteer with the Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief.
Survivors are his wife, Peggy Lewis of Sherwood; three children, Adam Gabrielle Lewis; Amber Kidd and husband Teddy, of Beebe; and Taylor Rose Perkins of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Mason Allen Kidd and Blake Lewis Kidd; and honorary brother, Glenn Curry and wife, Lisa, of Sherwood.
Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 8th at 2:00 pm at Union Valley Baptist Church, 932 Hwy 64 West, Beebe, Arkansas with Rev. Tommy Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Dark Corner Cemetery, Dumas, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief (https://abscdisasterrelief.org).
