1963-2024
Jerry Wayne Carrington, 61 of Star City, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock. He was born October 18, 1963 in Pine Bluff to the late Henry “Pete” and Joyce L. Bennett Carrington. He was of the Baptist faith, a retired logger for Martindale Logging, loved fishing, and loved camping with his family.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Ann Carrington.
Survivors include 2 sons, Jerry Carrington, II of Star City and Michael (Kimberly) Smith of Pine Bluff; 3 daughters, Christy (Jason) Carrington, Mary (Terry) Edwards, both of Star City, and Carol (Dennis) Castellini of Pine Bluff; 4 brothers, Danny (Rosemary) Carrington of Banks, Richard (Domingo) Carrington of Jacksonville, David (Sherry) Carrington, and Robert (Debra) Carrington, both of Star City; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2:00PM Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City with Bro. Rickey Harrison officiating. Visitation is 6:00-8:00PM Monday, November 18, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial at Old Owen Cemetery.
