1938-2025
Henry D. Harp, age 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 12th, 2025. He was born on June 4th,1938 to Lee and Cleo Harp in England, Arkansas.
Henry’s favorite place to be was outside. He loved to do yard work, hunt, fish, and tend to his garden. His favorite thing to do outside was to watch all of his grandchildren play and take them for rides around the yard on his golf cart. These are the memories his family will forever cherish the most.
Henry was a firm follower of Christ for his entire life. At age 84, he was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and received the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Henry is preceded in death by his parents, as well as a brother, Jim Harp.
He is survived by his brother, Harold (Alene) Harp; niece Sandy Price; two nephews and great-nephews; and numerous cousins.
Although not related by blood, Henry also leaves behind his best friends, Walter and Samantha Moore. Because of this friendship, Henry was brought into the lives of both the Moore and Biggs families. He was “adopted” as a grandfather and great-grandfather to a whole host of children he loved dearly. Although he loved all of the children, Reeder Moore was always his best buddy.
