1938-2025
Harold Taylor of Grapevine, Arkansas was born February 2, 1938 in Grapevine, and passed away on February 27, 2025 at Alcoa Pines Health and Rehabilitation in Benton at the age of 87.
He was a faithful member of New Life Fellowship Church in Sheridan, was an avid turkey hunter, and enjoyed traveling to several states hunting turkey. He also enjoyed hunting deer and squirrel. He was retired from the Cotton Belt Rail Road in Pine Bluff.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Gregory Taylor.
Survivors: wife of 65 years, Evelyn Taylor; daughter and son-in-law, Twylia and Ray Dean Shoptaw; brother, Carroll Taylor; sister, Ida Nell Ashcraft (Robert Ashcraft) and a host of extended family members and friends.
Funeral service will be Monday, March 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Cypert and Bro. Tom Cypert officiating. Burial will follow at Hedden Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Tony Beard, Jeff Hedden, Brent Taylor, Justin Moody, Adam Smith, Johnny McClure, Randy Plunkett, Ross Plunkett, Brandon Cotton and Matt Cotton.
