Gaynell Cherry Cole, age 91 of Monticello, AR, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, peacefully at her home. She was born June 29, 1933 in Monticello, AR to the late Luther and Lilly Cherry.
She was retired from Wal Mart, where she worked in the fabric/craft department and was of the Baptist faith. She loved to crochet, cross-stitch, and read her Bible.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James “Jim” Cole; six siblings; two daughters, Darlene Jenkins of Little Rock and Patricia Hatfield of Star City; and one son, Ricky Bussell of Monticello.
She is survived by two sons, David Bussell and wife Kim and Randy Bussell, both of Monticello; and one brother, James Cherry of Monticello. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
