1952-2025
Gary Lee Bulloch, age 72, of Fordyce, Arkansas, known to so many people simply as “Bull”, was born November 5, 1952 at Dermott, Arkansas, the son of the late William and Zola Reynolds Bulloch. Bull’s huge heart and genuine smile, truly epitomized the perspective of “Live well, laugh often, and love much”. He cherished his family, and was never shy about bragging on them, especially his soulmate Belinda. He was so excited and proud to become a Papa for the first time. Precious little Lillian was born January 13 and God allowed Gary to get to meet her on this side of eternity, and be a part of her life for all of eternity. Gary loved Jesus, and he let people know it by being much more than a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan, but by living his life in such a way that he pointed people towards Jesus. He had a heart for encouragement, and made sure everyone at IBC knew they mattered to him. Whether it was a hug, a handshake, or his signature fist-bump, he made his rounds to everyone he could at every service. He retired from many years with the Arkansas Department of Transportation and didn’t waste a second of his retirement. He had too many things he loved to do and the time to do them. His main passion was Crappie fishing. To him, he was content being on the water fishing, even if the fish weren’t biting. He also really enjoyed hunting and golfing.
On Thursday, January 16, 2025, Bull was hooking up his boat and getting ready to go fishing, but Jesus had other plans, and Gary Bulloch opened his eyes in Glory!
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew, Josh Bulloch.
Survivors include his wife and best friend, Belinda Smith Bulloch of Fordyce; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Krystal Harper of Benton; daughters and sons-in-law, Taylor and Bud Chambliss of Bearden and Hunter and Wyatt Reynolds of Hampton; granddaughter, Lillian Reynolds; brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Ava Bulloch of Pine Bluff; in-laws, Morris and Carol Smith of Sheridan. He is also survived by other extended family members, countless numbers of friends, and his IBC Church family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 20, 2025 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan (206 East Holly) with his pastor, Bro. Gary Copeland, and his dear friend, Roger Milligan officiating. Burial will be in Bethel (North) Cemetery at Ico. Visitation is also Monday, from 1:00 P.M. until service time.
