Elizabeth Hudson, 70 of Star City, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024 at her home. She was born October 6, 1954 in Rison to the late David Herbert and Claudie Mae Snyder Hudson. She was a member of Overcoming Faith Worship Center in Star City, was a retired welding inspector for Brown and Root, was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, she loved fishing, spending time with family and friends, going out to eat and playing games.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wayne Stephens, Sr., daughter; Billi Jo Hudson Hicks; 5 brothers, William Frank Hudson, James Henry Hudson, Rube Otto Hudson, Harold Edward Hudson, and David Andrew Hudson; Flavor Maudean Hudson, Daisy Mae Hudson High, and Sarah Leona Hudson Hartley.
Survivors include a son, Edward Wayne (Jennifer) Stephens, Jr. of Star City; daughter, Angie (Mike) Cox of Sheridan; brother, Jerry Lee (Peggy) Hudson of Marvell; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Funeral services are 10:00AM Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City with Bro. Don Borland officiating. Visitation is 9:00-10:00AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
