1976-2025
Dustin Michael Shaha, 48 of Star City passed away, Saturday at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born August 10, 1976 in Pine Bluff. He was a Christian and a former welder at Varco-Pruden. Dustin loved to hunt and fish, he also loved NASCAR and music, especially the “Blues”.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kerry Michael Shaha, his mamaw Lavender, and three special uncles, Doyle Lavender, Huey Lavender, and Ancel Offutt.
Survivors include his mother, Bernice Lavender Shaha, and a sister, Kerry Lynn Shaha both of Star City. Other survivors include two nephews, Cameron Matthew Flanigan, Liam Patrick Flanigan and a niece, Lacey Leann Shaha.
Visitation will be Monday, March 17, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Griffin Funeral Service Chapel in Star City with Bro. Wally Fry and Bro. Landon Dutton officiating, burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery. Memorials may be made to MACMED missions, 217 Jeff Road, Star City, Ark. 71667.
Pallbearers will be Will Earnest, Shawn Nutt, Frankie Staton, Daniel Reeves, Jason Morris and Shannon Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cameron Flanigan, Liam Flanigan and Lacey Shaha. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
