It is with profound sorrow that we the caring and professional staff of the Christian Way Funeral Home, join with the entire Reynolds family in announcing the earthly transition of our beloved Mrs. Doneika Reynolds.
Donekia LaShun Reynolds-Anderson affectionately known as “Nee Nee”, was born into this life on December 28, 1977 to Paul Edward Coleman and Wilma Jean Reynolds in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Donekia graduated from Dollarway High School, Class of 1996, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She later on attended Kaplan University where she obtained both an Associate of Science Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services in Youth/Family Services and Administration. She worked for Pine Bluff Head Start Administrative Offices for many years.
She was a simple woman who enjoyed the simple things that life offered. She married her high school sweetheart, Jermaine in 2001. Passionate about music, Donekia shared her beautiful voice with all those around her. Her hobbies included singing, watching Lifetime Movie Network, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.
Warm, sassy, and always full of life. She never put an expiration date on her dreams and lived life on purpose. Her two sons, Jermaine and Jordan were the light of her life and she took great pride in imparting life lessons to them. And her most prize possession was her beautiful, strong granddaughter, “Laiya Bug”.
Those awaiting her arrival are her paternal and maternal grandparents, and her father, Paul Coleman preceded her in death.
Donekia was given the gift of rest on Friday, December 27, 2024. Although her stay may seem too brief, her life will leave indelible memories with, Jermaine Anderson Sr. of Pine Bluff, AR, two sons; Jermaine and Jordan Anderson both of Pine Bluff, AR; her mother, Wilma Reynolds of Pine Bluff, AR; 2 brothers, Tramaine (LaShuna) Parker of Little Rock, AR, and Courtney (Thavry) Coleman of Houston, TX, and her precious granddaughter, Alaiya Sky”. She also leaves several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, numerous cousins, a caravan of friends and her four best friends Tezma, Pam, Scherrie, and Schwan.
