Deborah “Debbie” Caplinger, 66, of Austin, Arkansas, passed away at her home on December 24, 2024. She was born on August 30, 1958, in DeWitt, Arkansas, to Charles Henry and Jean Carver. Debbie graduated from DeWitt High School and the University of Central Arkansas, earning a degree in business.
Debbie dedicated over 20 years of her professional life as a property manager at Associated Management, and served for a time at the North Little Rock Parks and Recreation Department and the North Little Rock Animal Shelter. She retired in December 2023.
Debbie’s passions included country and 70s music, as well as paper crafts. She was known for her beautiful handmade cards, which she shared with loved ones and donated to the Fellowship North card ministry. Her thoughtfulness and creativity brightened the lives of many.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey Caplinger of Austin, Arkansas; her daughter, Elizabeth Richardson, and son-in-law, Cody Richardson, of Lavon, Texas; her mother, Jean Carver; her brother, Mike Carver; and her sister, Pam Carver, all of DeWitt, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Henry Carver.
A memorial service will be held at Essex Funeral Home in DeWitt, Arkansas on Monday, December 30 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Fellowship North Church, Care of Card Ministry. (1 East 52nd Place NLR, AR 72116).
