Darrell Lee Owen, 82, of Star City passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Dalton’s Place in Star City. Mr. Owen was born in Pine Bluff on January 18, 1943 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Adrian and Elva Lee Williams Owen. Darrell was a retired truck driver for Synergy Gas Company and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Darrell enjoyed going to bluegrass shows and spending time with his family.
Survivors include one son, Randall Owen and wife Julie of Sheridan, one daughter; Amy Owen of Star City, a brother; Elbert Owen and wife Debbie of Star City, grand daughter Millissiee Wilson, and two nieces; Rhonda Ratterree and husband Joey, and Brooks Rowland and husband Cody.
Graveside services are 2:00pm Monday, January 27, 2025 at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Bro David Poe will officiate. There will be no formal visitation.
