Darlene Crain Tomboli, 71
1953-2024

Darlene Crain Tomboli, 71, of Pine Bluff, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 29, 2024, after a lengthy illness.

Born Vivian Darlene Crain July 4, 1953, in Bastrop, Louisiana, the daughter of Christine Higginbotham Crain of Pine Bluff and the late Samuel Crain.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband Jerry Tomboli, whom she married on July 27, 1973; two sons, Chad Tomboli (his wife, Hollie Tomboli) and Cory Tomboli (his wife, Ashley Tomboli); five grandchildren, Isabella Tomboli, Ethan Tomboli, RaeAnna Tomboli, Katie Tomboli and Cole Tomboli; and a brother, Glenn Crain.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Crain.

She was a long-time resident of Pine Bluff and graduated from Pine Bluff High School.

She was a member of Green Meadows Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School, served on various committees, and sang in the Sanctuary Choir. She was employed at several locations in Pine Bluff, including Wilber-Ellis Inc. and Mike Ray, CPA, both during the 1990s. She also worked with her husband at The Produce Shed during the early years of the business. She supported the company in many ways as it grew into a thriving business.

Darlene was a homemaker who loved her family and enjoyed cooking and decorating her home. She and her husband hosted the family during the holidays and welcomed all.

Visitation will be Friday, January 3, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel, 1621 South Cherry Street in Pine Bluff. The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the same location.

The pallbearers will be Cole Tomboli, Ethan Tomboli, Joey Tomboli, Jason Tomboli, David Neikirk, Chris Cason, Scott Taylor and Robbie Tomboli.
