Daphne Ball-Clark, 61
1964-2025

Born on May 2, 1964, to Mattie Belcher and Henry Ball, both of whom preceded her in death, Daphne was raised with a deep sense of faith and love for others. From a young age, she accepted Christ into her heart, and her unwavering faith guided her throughout her life. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, who played a pivotal role in shaping the woman she became.

Daphne graduated from Warren High School in 1982, where she laid the foundation for a life dedicated to learning and helping others. She continued her education at Ouachita Baptist University, earning a degree in Mass Communication, and later pursued her passion for nursing at Pines Technical College, where she completed the Practical Nursing Program in 1990. Daphne’s journey as a nurse flourished when she met her beloved husband, Clarence Clark, during nursing school. In 1996, she graduated from Baptist Health School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, embarking on a 34-year career at JRMC, where she became a trusted and cherished member of the medical community. Her expertise, kindness, and dedication touched countless lives, and she made a lasting impact on the lives of her patients and coworkers alike. Daphne was an active member of the Pi Chi Chi Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority Inc. of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Daphne was a devoted mother to her daughters, Amber Davis, Daphne Clark, Celine Clark, and LaDonna Clark, and her son, Carence Clark, all of whom were the pride and joy of her life. She also leaves behind her treasured sister, Zarren Muhammad (Kaazim) of Hattiesburg, MS, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Talayah Greene, Travis Greene, and Nyle Davis. Daphne’s family was her heart, and she cherished each and every one of them.

Daphne leaves behind a host of family, friends, and colleagues who will deeply miss her warm spirit, her nurturing nature, and her dedication to making the world a better place. She was known for her compassion, her laughter, and her ability to bring light into the lives of those around her. Daphne’s legacy of service, kindness, and love will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rest in peace, Daphne. You will be forever missed, but your love, your spirit, and your memory will live on in all who knew you.
