Cynthia Ann Jones, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on July 19, 1961, in Port Arthur, Texas, Cindy lived a life marked by dedication, compassion, and faith.
Cindy was a highly esteemed nurse manager at the UAMS Cancer Institute, where she was known for her exceptional knowledge, executive skills, and deep compassion for both her team and patients. Her career was a testament to her unwavering commitment to the well-being of others, and she left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working with her.
A devoted follower of Christ, Cindy was a fervent prayer warrior and served for many years in the youth ministry and choir at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she touched the lives of many through her service and dedication to her church community.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband, William Miles, and his daughters, Adia, Grace, and Jessica. She leaves behind her cherished children, daughter Jennifer Baker and her husband Andrew, and son Jarrod Huffer and his wife Faith. Cindy was a proud grandmother to Bo Baker, Austin Baker, and Luke Huffer, who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her sister, Christy Burney, and her brother, Wayne Jones, and his wife Lori. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents Carroll and Garry Ann Jones.
Cindy's legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her family and friends will forever hold her memory in their hearts, cherishing the profound impact she had on their lives.
Visitation and funeral services for Cindy Jones will be held at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church on Thursday, December 5th, 2024 at 1pm.
