Cathie Ann Trussell Irons Broadway, 69, passed away December 3, 2024. She was born May 6, 1955, in Bayou Meto to Charles Henry and Frances Marie Anderson Trussell.
Cathie worked for many years at the shoe factory in DeWitt, but is better known for working at the Sahara Restaurant in DeWitt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands Jay Irons and Buddy Broadway; six siblings Dorothy Stillwell, Buddy Trussell, Vera Criswell, Doris Noble, Terri Sue Alexander, and Donnie Trussell.
Cathie is survived by her stepson Jamie Irons (Melody); two stepgrandsons Tyler and Jaxon; brother Tommy Trussell (Debbie); sister Linda Peebles (Milton) all of DeWitt; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. December 5 at Essex Funeral Home with graveside services following at 2:30 in Bayou Meto Cemetery.
