Carolyn Ann Long, age 80, of Star City, passed away Friday, November 29, 2024, at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. Carolyn was born April 8,1944 in Star City to the late William and Annie Limbert Prysock. Mrs. long worked most of her life doing what she loved, painting and making art. Carolyn also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling and shopping. Mrs. Long was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Carolyn was also preceded in death by one son, Robert Brian Long, four brothers; Carl Gene Prysock, Charles Prysock, Frank Prysock and Edwin Prysock, and three sisters; Joyce Bradshaw, Billie Raley, and Inez Keller.
Survivors include her loving husband, of 64 years, Robert Long of Star City, two daughters; Sherrye (Jimmie) Clark of Star City, and Donna (Chuck) Dooley of Isanti, MN, one brother, Joe (Betty) Prysock of Monroe, LA, four grandchildren; Grant Clark of Little Rock, Meagon ( Dillon) Perry of Cabot, Tristin (Derek) Petterson of Forest Lake, MN, and Ashtin Richie of Sandstone, MN, five great grandchildren; Oliver Perry of Cabot, Trinity Richie, Landin Richie, Amzie Richie, and Bentley Richie all of Sandstone, MN, and two honorary grandchildren; Sean King of Little Rock, and Jordan Roark Owen of Star City.
Funeral Services are 2:00pm Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Visitation is 1:00pm to 2:00pm Tuesday before the funeral. Bro Ricky Harrison will officiate. Burial will follow at Drake Cemetery.
