1958-2024
Captain Robin E. Stiles, 66 of Bearden, died Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at his home. He was born November 24, 1958 on Monroe, Louisiana to the late George and Dolores Clay Stiles.
He began flying at the age of 16. He was a crop duster before becoming a commercial airline pilot in 1990 flying 747's.. He enjoyed fly fishing, spending time with his family at their houseboat, and rescuing dogs and finding loving homes for them.
He is survived by his wife Linda Stiles, his stepdaughters Toni Green and Terri Green (Bill) Davis; his grandchildren, Ashley (Brett) Starr, Aiden Davis, Ian Seba, Garrett Davis, Brett Davis, and Blaine Davis; his great grandchildren Brooklyn Starr and Larkin Starr; his sisters Georgia Stiles and Cynthia Stiles Ferguson; his nephew Alan Stiles and his niece Kerri Lynn Stiles.
Graveside services will be 10AM Thursday at Bethel Cemetery with Rev. Ron Grigsby and Rev. Tim Doherty officiating.
