1955-2025
Brenda Carol Carter, age 69, of Star City passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born July 16, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Robert and Doris Epperson Campbell. Brenda was retired from Lincoln County where she served as the 911 Dispatch Supervisor. Brenda was also a member of the Star City Church of Christ, member of the “Night Owls”, and past member of the Star City Women’s league. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing bunco with friends, shopping, and was known to be an amazing cook.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Donny Fred Carter, one sister, Linda Krebs, and a grandchild, Leslie.
Survivors include two sons; Phillip Campbell (Cameo) of Jonesboro, and Sam McCool (Patricia) of Star City, one daughter, Cassie Clark (Adam) of White Hall, one sister, Shirley Campbell of York, PA, and fifteen grandchildren; Makenzie, Marlee, Madison, Carter, Caleb, Bobby, Brandon, Hadlee, Jayden, Corey, Scott, Dillon, Haley, Holly, and Mason, and two great grandchildren.
Memorial Services are 2:00pm Friday, March 28, 2025 at Griffin Funeral Services in Star City, Bro. Garry Dutton will officiate. There will be no formal Visitation.
