1942-2024
Billy Eugene Wooley, 82 of Star City, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born February 6, 1942 in Pine Bluff to the late Amos T. Wooley, Sr. and Eddie Baum Wooley. Billy was of the Baptist faith, was a retired farmer for Joe Newton Farms, loved fishing, gardening, and doing mechanical work in his shop.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, John Wooley, Jerry Wooley, Ray Wooley, and Amos Wooley, Jr.; and a son-in-law, JB Henley.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Wooley of Star City; daughter, Billie (Glen) Heinzelman of Star City; sister, Mildred Agee of Florida; and his dog, Sweet Pea.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
